Refund Policy
Last Updated: May 16, 2026
This Refund Policy explains when refunds may be available for purchases made through ISV.me. ISV.me is a domain marketplace. Domains are digital assets, so we do not offer physical returns or exchanges.
1. Summary
Refunds may be available when:
- A paid domain transfer cannot be completed because the seller does not own, control, unlock, or transfer the domain.
- A seller materially misrepresented the domain listing.
- A transaction is confirmed to be duplicate, unauthorized, or fraudulent.
- ISV.me cancels a transaction before the domain transfer is completed.
Completed domain transfers are generally final. Once the buyer receives control of the domain, refund requests are reviewed only for fraud, clear misrepresentation, duplicate payment, or other exceptional cases required by law or payment-network rules.
2. Checkout Cancellation
Buyers may cancel an unpaid checkout while the transaction is still pending or payment is still being processed. If a payment authorization or payment intent exists, ISV.me will attempt to cancel it through the payment processor. If the payment has already succeeded, cancellation may be handled as a refund review instead.
Cancelling before escrow normally does not require the domain to be returned to the marketplace because the domain has not yet been marked as sold.
3. Refund Request Window
You should contact support as soon as a problem occurs. In most cases, refund requests must be submitted within 30 days after payment.
For escrow transactions, requests should be submitted before confirming domain receipt whenever possible. Confirming receipt tells ISV.me that the transfer has been completed and that escrow funds may be released.
4. Non-Refundable Items
The following are generally non-refundable:
- Completed domain purchases after the buyer has received control of the domain.
- Voluntary charity donations after a transaction is completed and donation processing has started.
- Auction entry fees when a winning bidder does not complete checkout within the 48-hour winner payment window.
- Platform or payment processing fees where those fees have already been charged by third-party providers, unless required by law or a payment-network rule.
- Losses caused by inaccurate buyer information, failure to accept a transfer, registrar restrictions, or delays outside ISV.me control.
5. Auction Entry Fee Credit and Forfeiture
Each auction may require a $10 entry fee before bidding. If you win the auction and complete checkout within the 48-hour winner payment window, the entry fee is credited toward your final checkout amount.
If you win an auction and do not complete checkout within 48 hours after the auction enters pending payment status, ISV.me may expire the auction hold and keep the entry fee. This fee is not a domain purchase payment after forfeiture and is generally non-refundable.
6. Failed Domain Transfers
If a domain transfer fails because of seller error or seller non-performance, ISV.me may cancel the transaction and issue a full or partial refund to the buyer.
Examples include:
- The seller cannot prove ownership or control of the domain.
- The seller does not provide a valid transfer authorization code when required.
- The domain is locked, disputed, expired, subject to registrar restrictions, or otherwise not transferable because of seller-side issues.
- The listed domain materially differs from what was sold.
If the transfer fails because of buyer error, ISV.me may open a dispute review instead of automatically refunding the payment.
7. Domain Relisting After Refund
If ISV.me refunds a transaction while funds are in escrow and the seller has not started the domain transfer, ISV.me may return the domain listing to the marketplace.
If the seller has already started the transfer, provided a transfer authorization code, pushed the domain, or if the transaction is already completed, ISV.me does not automatically relist the domain after refund. In those cases, relisting requires manual review because domain control may have changed or may be disputed.
8. Growth Points, Coupons, and Rewards
Growth points, level progress, medals, coupons, profile reputation, or other rewards earned from a completed purchase, sale, donation, auction, share, like, referral, or other platform action may be reversed when the related activity is refunded, cancelled for fraud, charged back, abusive, mistakenly awarded, or otherwise invalidated.
Coupons tied to invalidated activity may be cancelled, expired, or made unusable. Medals or level progress tied to invalidated activity may be adjusted where the underlying growth points or qualifying activity no longer apply.
We use adjustment entries where practical rather than deleting historical records, so the account history can show both the original award and the later reversal.
9. Disputes and Review
ISV.me may request evidence from the buyer and seller before approving or denying a refund. Evidence may include registrar screenshots, transfer emails, WHOIS or RDAP records, payment records, platform messages, DNS records, and other relevant materials.
During review, ISV.me may pause escrow release, suspend the listing, or restrict account access if fraud or policy violations are suspected.
10. How Refunds Are Sent
Approved refunds are returned to the original payment method whenever possible. Refunds may be full or partial depending on the issue, transaction status, payment processor rules, and any amounts already released or donated.
After ISV.me initiates a refund through the payment processor, the time for funds to appear depends on the payment method, card network, bank, and payment processor. Card refunds commonly take several business days to appear.
11. Chargebacks
If you file a chargeback or payment dispute with your bank, ISV.me may pause support review while the payment processor or card network handles the dispute. Chargebacks may result in temporary account restrictions while the transaction is investigated.
12. How to Request a Refund
To request a refund, contact support and include:
- Your account email.
- The transaction ID or domain name.
- A short explanation of the issue.
- Any evidence showing failed transfer, duplicate payment, fraud, or misrepresentation.
You can open a support ticket from the Support Portal or contact us by email:

13. Policy Updates
We may update this Refund Policy from time to time. The version posted on ISV.me at the time of your request will guide our review unless a newer version is required by law or payment-network rules.
